Dr. Bateman grew up in Pocatello, Idaho. He went to college at BYU, and then attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He and his wife Nola, and their 5 daughters moved to Boise to complete residency in family medicine. He has practiced here in the Treasure Valley for over 20 years and loves the area. He chose family medicine because of the challenge of “front line medicine”, the variety of problems every day in the office, and the opportunity to form long term relationships with his patients.
